3 Minute Talks

Inspired by the 3 Minute Thesis at the University of Queensland, the Graduate School’s 3-Minute Talks is a competition held once a year in the fall. Graduate students from all disciplines take turns presenting their thesis and/or research in 3 minutes using only 1 PowerPoint slide. Presenters are judged by a panel of university faculty and staff and are scored based on their ability to articulate their material in lay terms. The winner of the university-wide 3MT competition competes at the annual meeting of the Western Association of Graduate Schools and at the Colorado State-wide competition. Cash prizes are awarded to the winners. For more information, contact us.
